Pressure relief specialist Elfab has launched its own extruder rupture disc (ERD) range.
The range is primarily designed for over pressure protection of plastic extrusion processes, Elfab says.
Each of Elfab’s ERDs consists of a threaded body with a conventional rupture disc electron beam welded to the end, and as each ERD application is different, Elfab manufacture all products in-house using its electron beam welding appliance.
The ERDs are also available with the highest burst pressure capacity that Elfab can offer.
Meanwhile, Elfab’s range of ERDs also provides leak tightness and offers a cost-effective maintenance free design, the company says.
Each rupture disc can be manufactured as a custom engineered designed to meet industry specifications.
