The Verderflex Dura 5 and Dura 7 combine a close-coupled pump’s compactness with traditional long-coupled pump benefits in high-pressure, low-volume dosing pumps.
Unlike traditional high shear pumps that reduce flocculent particle sizes and result in both increased chemical use and higher operating costs, the products bring gentle pumping to sub-litre per hour flow rates, says Verderflex.
With no valves or stators to wear, the Dura 5 and Dura 7 not only deal with off-gassing liquids, but also pump lime and similar highly abrasive chemicals at a pressure of five to eight bar with minimal downtime.
The pumps have already provided chemical dosing solutions for water treatment and have been put to working in the brewing and food industries.
