Seepex has become the first manufacturer to offer a newly developed progressive cavity pump that is certified according to the new EHEDG testing process and given Type EL Class 1 certification.
The new testing regime can guarantee residue-free cleaning at a lower temperature, with lower chemical concentration and a shorter cleaning time than usual for cleaning-in-place (CIP).
The company’s progressive cavity pumps, macerators and control systems are used when low to highly viscous, aggressive or abrasive media must be conveyed at low pulsation rates and have applications in numerous industries, such as food and beverage, environmental engineering, renewable energies, oil and gas and pulp and paper.
