Wright appointment boosts distributor presence on BCAS board

Managing director of Thorite Stephen Wright has been elected to the board of trade association the British Compressed Air Society.
Previously a regular participant on the BCAS distributor committee, Wright’s elevation follows changes to the society’s constitution.
“The amendment to the Articles of Association which allow distributors to sit on the BCAS board will provide greater balance and I firmly believe that I will be able to provide that all important distributor perspective,” said Wright.
“I also believe that with my background in the industry together with the skills and knowledge that I have been able to acquire in non-executive and voluntary roles beyond my involvement with Thorite, that I will be able to provide an alternative view of the industry and I am looking forward to getting started.”
