Bosch Rexroth has been announced as the headline sponsor of the Industry 4.0 Summit, taking place at the Manchester Convention Centre (4-5 April).
Sean Kilgallen, the company’s marketing manager, said: “Bosch Rexroth is in a unique position to help drive the next industrial revolution, as both a lead operator and supplier of Industry 4.0 solutions. We are compiling real-life experience in outfitting our plants with Industry 4.0 technology.
“At the same time, we are using our experience in the development and application of new Industry 4.0 products, systems, software and solutions to become a leading provider as well, turning the vision of the Smart Factory into reality.
“The summit is a great opportunity to meet, listen and network with other key players in the industry.”
Industry 4.0 is having a fundamental impact on value creation in manufacturing, said event organisers, with the concept opening up new potential for productivity, quality and efficiency.
“We’re looking forward to both the Industry 4.0 Summit and Factories of the Future Expo where we envisage much in-depth discussion and debate about the 4th Industrial Revolution,” added Kilgallen.
