Pump Company shortlisted for PIA prize

Crawley-based firm The Pump Company is celebrating its shortlisting for Distributor of the Year at the annual Pump Industry Awards.
The company, led by managing director Peter Staddon, will compete with five other contenders for the award sponsored by WEG UK.
“We are delighted to be a finalist in the Distributor of the Year category and look forward to a great evening” said Staddon.
“In entering the process, it has been really rewarding to hear some of the testimonials from our existing clients.”
Also in the running are Triark Pumps, T-T Pumps, Tomlinson Hall & Co, GM Treble and Clyde Associated Engineers.
Founded in 2000 by the British Pump Manufacturers Association, the awards include six other categories: manufacturer of the year, supplier of the year, environmental contribution of the year, technical innovation of the year – products, technical innovation of the year – projects, and engineer of the year.
Nominees regularly include some of the best known companies in the industry, including among others, Xylem, ABB, Grundfos, KSB and Danfoss.
