Stainless steel multiple connectors from Eisele
8 May 2013
The Inoxline multiple connector is designed to comply with clean design requirements, so it can be used in food processing.
All components of the Cleanline 1831 series are made of stainless steel. A screw cap seals the connection to the connector and the hoses, so the collet does not come into contact with impurities.
If the socket and plug are connected to a cylinder it is also possible to close the connector automatically. One application for this type of connector is the dairy industry.
A slightly different version of the multiple connector is used in the production of meat products, however.
In that case, one end of the connector is protected against impurities by an insulating hose that is screwed into the hose bundle.
The opposing end is connected via a flange, which creates a clean zone for the connector. The union nut is completely sealed, to protect the threads and the inside of the connector against impurities.
The entire pattern of the multiple connector is asymmetrical, so there is only one correct plug position.
