Pump company NOV Mono is looking to expand its European operations.
Following its recent acquisition of engineered equipment business Robbins and Myers, NOV Mono has announced plans to increase its penetration of the European market.
According to NOV Mono’s European sales manager Ian Horton: “Europe offers enormous potential for the various products in our newly extended portfolio, and we are expanding our teams and our capabilities so that we can exploit that potential to the full.”
Horton cites Germany as a good example of this programme in action.
“We have already expanded our presence in Germany with the aim of increasing the level of service we provide to our customers there,” he said.
“This includes appointing new area sales managers, and signing new commercial agreements with independent distributors such as Walter Fiedler and Würdig Pumpentechnik, who now represent us in separate areas of the German water and wastewater market. However we are not finished yet. We’re currently recruiting to expand our sales force, in Germany and other territories, with a view to providing our customers with even better support.”
The company has also been developing its offering to European customers in other ways, including changes to the supply chain for its range of Mono Universal Parts in France.
This move has further improved turnaround times and helped to reduce equipment downtime and customer spares inventories, the company says.
Mono customers in the French water and wastewater industries now also benefit from the supply of the company’s EZstrip products via the NOV Mono France office.
“The range includes the EZstrip Transfer Pump, EZstrip Cake Pump and the EZstrip TR Muncher,” said Horton.
“Our aim is to make it even easier for our French customers to access the wealth of expertise and industry experience that lies behind both the EZstrip range and the Mono business as a whole.”
