Pumps and valves manufacturer Flowserve yesterday confirmed it had completed its acquisition the Netherlands-based SIHI Group.
Flowserve first announced its intention to acquire SIHI Group, which includes the UK-based Sterling Fluid Systems, for €298 million (£234m) in November.
SIHI…will complement our chemical industry strategy

The Dutch group specialises in producing liquid and vacuum pumps for the process industries, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power, water, food and drink, and pulp and paper.
“SIHI’s existing installed base and its leading position as a supplier of vacuum and fluid pumps will complement our chemical industry strategy,” said Flowserve chief executive Mark Blinn.
Flowserve’s acquisition of SIHI follows its acquisition of centrifugal pumps manufacturer Innomag in February last year, and its subsequent disposal of its Naval OY valves business.
