HBM’s new MX460B four-channel digital pulse and frequency module can be individually configured and used to measure torque, rotational speed, angle position and displacement.
It is part of the QuantumX measuring and amplifier system, and like other modules in this range it offers high flexibility and ease of use, said HBM.
It is suitable for test bench applications used in the development of electric drives, combustion engines or hybrid drives, or in machines with rotating shafts.
The new module enables changes in measurement valves with a maximum bandwidth of 40 kHz to be analysed with ease, in the high-accuracy class of up to 0.01.
The module also resolves digital frequency signals for torque and rotational speed by interpolating and extrapolating at data rates of 100kS/s per measurement channel, ensuring a loss-free digital measuring chain.
