Endress+Hauser has launched a range of RFID tags that are designed to ease the identification of measuring points.
The company says the tags, which interact with its Operations App, are suitable for use in harsh environments and provide a solution to prolonged plant downtime and failures in data acquisition.
The tags also interact with the App to make technical documentation and information concerning spare parts available for any specific measuring point on site.
That reduces the costs of installation, commissioning and maintenance, Endress+Hauser said.
