The efficient processing of dry bulk materials forms the cornerstone of operations for a diverse range of industrial sectors, yet very few process engineers have received any formal training in powder handling technology.
The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology at the University of Greenwich is addressing this issue with a new two-day course.
Those attending will gain access to the latest knowledge on bulk materials handling and how to ensure plants operate more efficiently.
The course – which takes place at the University of Greenwich Medway Campus in Chatham, Kent from 7–8 June – covers the formation/agglomeration of powders; blending operations; particle size reduction; drying or moisture modification; particle coating and the classification of materials.
