3 Apr 2017
EngineeringUK’s schools guide to STEM career opportunities over the next decade has had a flood of requests for copies since its launch in mid-March.
Demand for the free ‘From idea to career’ guide – aimed at students aged 14 and above – that looks at 12 areas of the engineering profession has topped 32,000 since 15 March.
Publication co-ordinator, EngineeringUK head of careers, Eleanor Eyre said: “I am delighted that ‘From idea to career’ is proving so popular. The aim was to create a concise resource that gives young people a real insight into engineering careers and the different ways to get into them.
“I hope it will support careers conversations and inspire more people to consider putting their skills to use in engineering.”
