Hydrostatic pressure unit

Easy set-up and calibration, flexibility of use and accuracy are among the advantages of Pepperl + Fuchs' Barcon hydrostatic pressure transmitter.
Designed for continuous measurement in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, the instrument transforms the actual hydrostatic presssure of fluid of viscous media into a 4-20mA output signal. The device can measure pressure ranges for 0-0.4bar up to 0-16bar.
The instrument's 2-wire sensor can be set up using four pushbuttons and a menu-guided display. An optional 'smart' version of the instrument can be calibrated via the HART protocol. The glass fibre-reinforced PBT plastic housing is rated to IP67 and is adjustable, so the display can face either forward or upward.
A modular construction allows threads, flanges or clamps to be used to install the sensor. For hazardous areas, an instrinsically safe (EEx a IIc) model is available which can be used up to Zone 0.
