Particle process
15 Jan 2000
Among the particle processing (as opposed to handling) equipment on show will be several machines from British Rema Process Plant Engineers. The Aerosplit Classifier is a high efficiency airswept unit capable of separating ultra fine, dry powders of mixed particle size in the range of 1 to 150micron. The Rema CLM classifier mill, meanwhile, is a fixed beater impact grinder with two-stage grinding and integral inter-stage classification for products of 300micron and below. The Aerojet Microniser combines the principles of opposed stream impacting of solids with the Aerosplit system to produce powders in the range of 1 to 80micron.
The Kemutec Group is also exhibiting its extensive range of processing and handling equipment, including the KEK range of universal mills, cone mills for moist, fatty, heat sensitive and other difficult-to-grind products, and centrifugal sifters. For mixing applications, the Gardner horizontal ribbon and plough-share mixers and double-cone blenders will also be on show.
