Chemoxy solves sacking problems
15 Jan 2000
Chemical refinery company Chemoxy deals with 25kg small ingredient sacks in its filter pre-coating department.
The process did involve a lot of dusty manual handling, so Palamatic Handling Systems was brought in to propose a better solution. Palamatic's answer was a simple manual sack tip system leaving control of throughput with the operator, but incorporating an effective dust extraction system to clean up any dust that may escape into the working environment.
A further benefit of the sack tip system is the integral waste sack auger that deals with the emptied sacks by compacting them into a dust-tight polyethylene tube for easy disposal. To relieve the effort of manually loading sacks into the machine, Palamatic supplied a Pal-U-Lift vacuum sack lifter and gantry support. Chemoxy says: 'Dust and manual handling problems are a thing of the past'.
Palamatic Handling Systems are machinery specialists uith a range of products that can cover infeed processes or full turnkey systems.
