Bridge VIEW is a graphical software package for building industrial-strength automation systems for a wide variety of process and discrete manufacturing applications.
The software, from National Instruments, delivers real-time process monitoring, historical trending, on-line configuration and programmable logic controller connectivity.
The system gives users an `intuitive' graphical user interface, claims National Instruments, combined with a graphical software development language called G that can perform data acquisition and analysis, address man-machine interface applications, and develop advanced supervisory control applications.
