New QVF complex
15 Jan 2000
A self-confessed `factory junky', Sir John Harvey-Jones last month officially opened the new £4.5million complex of Stafford-based QVF Process Systems. Shown here with Sir John is md Peter Hagan who has overseen the growth of the company since the management buy-out from Corning in 1993. Last year QVF acquired Schott Engineering, its major competitor in the market for borosilicate glass process plant. After his spot of crystal ball gazing, Sir John spoke highly of the `skill and sophistication' of the QVF workforce.
