Ultrasonic flowerets are one of the fastest-growing sectors of the floweret market, and Endress+Hauser has become the latest firm to expand its range.
The PROline Prosonic Flow 92 portable clamp-on flowmeter can be used to check systems for leaks and to verify permanently installed meters, and is said to be suitable for pipes from 15-4000mm in diameter. The system is aimed particularly at the water and wastewater industries.
The meter consists of two clamp-on sensors and a battery operated portable transmitter, which can operate for up to five hours between recharges. The transmitter also incorporates a datalogger which can store up to 40 000 measured values, and can manage the data from up to 20 measurement sites simultaneously, according to E+H.
