Low-cost gas heating
4 Jun 2003
Many small-scale process heating applications can only be met by electric heating methods, but now Lanemark International is offering a compact gas burner that could save users up to 70 per cent in energy costs.
The MTX tank-heating system comprises a self-contained burner unit that connects directly to a submerged heat exchanger with an exhaust fan pulling combustion gases through the system. Up to 27kW can be achieved via a 40mm tube linked to an MTX 15 model, while the larger MTX 20 can deliver 44kW with a 50mm tube.
According to Lanemark's Managing Director Adrian Longford, 'the small dimensions of the MTX take account of the location in which many of the units will be fitted. We have, for example, made it possible in most cases to rotate the MTX through 180 degrees.'
