Explosion proof mill

Collag, a manufacturer of novel formulations of agrochemicals and water dispersible granules, has installed a complete Hosokawa ACM milling plant. The new mill system complements an existing fluidised bed jet mill and gives the flexibility to handle two different active ingredients on dedicated production lines at the same time. The mill has been built to 10barg pressure shock resistance to withstand any potential explosion. The system is also fitted with two identical product collection filters. The milled product is split into each reverse jet bag filter. Clean filtered air rejoins one outlet duct which goes into the suction fan and is discharged to the atmosphere. The duct is fitted with a Hepa filter and explosion activated closure valve. The final product is bagged up.
