FW to establish "world¹s largest" circulating fluidised
bed boiler island for power plant in Poland.
The Finnish and Polish subsidiaries of Foster Wheeler are to proceed with
the design, supply and erection of the world¹s largest circulating fluidised
bed boiler island for a new 460MWe power plant, at Lagisza in southern
Poland. Total investment at the site is $550 million, of which the Foster Wheeler
contract is valued at $200 million.Commissioning is scheduled for early 2009.
