Record exhibitor numbers for Achema

Basingstoke, UK -- Stand bookings for Achema from companies based outside of Germany have now reached record levels, according to organisers of the event, which takes place 15-19 May in Frankfurt.

Bookings from outside the host country are nearing the 1700 mark, about 10% higher than the final figure for the show¹s last staging in 2003, said Mike Day, Achema's delegate for the UK and Ireland.

Overall, booking for the 28th triennial exhibition and congress have reached 3750, compared to a final total figure of 3819 for ACHEMA 2003, according to Day, in a 2 March update.

ACHEMA is billed as the world¹s largest event for the chemical engineering, environmental protection and biotechnology industries. The event is organised by DECHEMA, (Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology) based in Frankfurt.
