Grundfos Extends EFF1 Line–up

With energy costs continuing to rise, it makes increasing sense to select the most efficient equipment available.
This is particularly true in the case of pumps and pump solutions as 85%+ of the total ‘cradle to grave’ costs are directly attributable to their electricity consumption.
Grundfos Pumps are one of the worlds leading pump manufacturers and have for many years been developing products that offer significant energy savings. This has included incorporating high efficiency EFF1 motors as standard and at no additional cost into an increasing number of their pump products.
Some of the ranges that currently offer these motors as standard include most 3-phase members of the reliable Grundfos CR range of multistage centrifugal pumps that are suitable for a wide range of applications within commercial building services, water supply, pressure boosting and industrial applications.
Additionally the Grundfos TP family of close-coupled circulator pumps also incorporates EFF1 3-phase motors as standard, and has since 2003. This family is suitable for a wide range of commercial applications involving the circulation of hot and cold water, including geo-thermal projects.
Grundfos are also currently upgrading their entire range of end-suction NB and NK single-stage pumps, part of this re-work includes fitting these excellent ‘work horses’ with EFF1 motors as standard by year end.
