ProMinent forms water treatment company

Ashby de la Zouch, UK — ProMinent Dosiertechnik GmbH has formed ProMinent ProMaqua GmbH, to handle all aspects of the water treatment business. The new company will provide solutions for water disinfection, oxidation and hygiene users in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, ProMinent announced 25 Oct.

Based in new premises in Heidelberg, Germany, ProMaqua’s portfolio covers treatment methods including hypochlorite dosing, chlorine dioxide, ozone, UV and reverse osmosis. It will also offer fluid control products for storing, transferring and metering as well as for measuring and controlling.

The new company will provide complete, turnkey water treatment solutions inclusive of consultation and service, said ProMinent. ProMaqua is headed up by Ralf Kiermaier as commercial managing director, and Dr. Andreas Wolf as technical managing director.

In the UK, ProMaqua will supply its turnkey systems through ProMinent Fluid Controls (UK) Ltd’s dosing and water treatment package business, based in Ashby de la Zouch, said a company spokesman.
