London -- BHR Group is staging a two-day course called Improving mixing processes for industrial applications at Cranfield, Bedfordshire on 20 – 21 Nov 2007. Topics covered will include single and multiphase mixing and reaction applications, scaling up and down, equipment selection, high intensity mixing and operation.
Day 1 will provide an introduction to industrial mixing processes while during Day 2 specific applications; case studies and tools for assessing and optimising mixing and reaction will be covered in more detail. The second day will also include an industrial workshop session, which aims to discuss various mixing-related problems with attendees. A tour of mixing facilities with demonstrations of physical and numerical models is also included in the course.
