Drop in visitors mirrors decline in exhibition area compared with 2004, down from 42,870m2 to 25,600m2
London -- Organiser Reed Exhibitions has given the pre-audit attendance at TOTAL Processing & Packaging 2007 as 11,109 unique visitors, representing 9,611 "unique companies."
The ABC Audit Bureau figures from the May exhibition are still awaited, but the figures from Reed would seem to indicate that attendance was significantly down on the 2004 show, which had a total of 18,730 visitors, although some of these may have been counted more than once.
The drop in visitors of some 40% mirrors the 2007 show itself, which had a similar decline in exhibition area compared with 2004, which was down from 42,870m2 to 25,600m2.
