Your top tips for improving energy efficiency
22 Sep 2010
London – The process industries’ response to initiatives such as the CRC scheme (see story) – and incentives to invest in equipment such as variable speed drives and high efficiency motors, remains patchy.
However, most process engineers are keenly aware of the importance of energy efficiency to their organisations. From their day-to-day activities, they also know of many ways – from simple to advanced – to achieve significant savings in this area.
Barriers to delivering these efficiencies will be the focus of a major Energy feature in the next issue of Process Engineering magazine.
Please take a moment to comment on how process engineers and their organisations could become more effective in translating ideas into actual projects.
We would also welcome your news of recent energy-saving projects.
