Fluor links with predictive maintenance firm Azima DLI

Irving, Texas - Fluor Corp is to team with Azima DLI of based in Woburn, Massachusetts-based supplier of industrial software and services for industrial predictive maintenance.
The deal combines Fluor’s global maintenance resources and expertise in areas including site-based data collection, analysis and corrective action planning with Azima DLI’s Watchman Reliability Portal analysis software and instrumentation.
The partners are initially targeting the oil, gas, chemicals, power, and mining and metals clients, especially in developing countries lacking in-house, data-analysis expertise.
“Fluor and Azima DLI will share remote analysis and remote planning responsibilities based on geography, size of the project and applicable
execution capabilities,” said Kirk Grimes, president of Fluor’s Global Services Business Group.
“We expect the results to meet client needs for improved reliability and maintenance efficiencies in existing facilities as well as in new facilities where this approach meets the special challenges of start-up and the initial years of plant operations.”
