Walder returns to Rockwell Automation

London – Rockwell Automation has appointed Martin Walder to lead its ‘industry focused’ teams in; oil & gas, water, process, automotive & energy.
Walder, who previously worked for Rockwell from 1989-2001 in sales & business management roles, rejoins after seven years as managing director of ABB Robotics and a period of time in private equity.
Having also previously worked for Honeywell, Walder brings with him a considerable knowledge and experience in these specialist sectors and in business management in general, said a Rockwell press statement.
Walder has also been active on the CBI’s manufacturing council and is the current chairman of the engineering and manufacturing alliance (EAMA) - an umbrella trade association representing around 1700 companies in the mechanical engineering sector.
