Redhall unit four years without reportable injury

Middlesbrough, UK - Redhall Engineering’s industrial services division has achieved four calendar years without the need to report an injury under the Government’s Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR).
This equates to over four million man hours and reflects the organisation’s strict adherence to its stringent health and safety methodologies and processes, said a statement from the Redhall unit, which has offices in Middlesbrough, Southampton, Grimsby and Pembroke.
“Such milestones can only be reached with significant effort at all levels of the organisation,” said operations director, Tony Jester. “The health and wellbeing of both our employees and associates is of paramount importance. We continue to invest in performance improvement and this is proof that we are on the right track.”
As part of its continued investment, Redhall Engineering recently completed a series of employee workshops, which enabled staff at all levels to voice their opinions about the company’s current health and safety practices and procedures.
This, together with a number of behavioural safety programmes and developments, will help the organisation understand how well its existing safety programmes are performing, and how well it they are being implemented.
RIDDOR was introduced in 1995 to regulate a statutory obligation to report deaths, injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences that take place at work, or in connection with work.
Redhall Engineering operates in the oil and gas, chemical, power and food and pharmaceutical industries.
