PCB Piezotronics launches its portable vibration calibrator

The 9100D is designed to check checking accelerometers, velocity transducers and proximity probes over a wide operating frequency and amplitude range.
The self-contained system calibrates individual sensors, vibration switches and data collectors as well as validating the entire measurement channel of a condition monitoring or recording system.
The system also boats an integral quartz reference accelerometer and closed-loop level control give the 9110D enhanced stability and vibration calibration over a frequency range of 7Hz to 10 kHz.
Additional features include an ICP or voltage test sensor input for direct connection and readout of the most common types of accelerometers and velocity transducers.
Alongside the 9110D, PCB Piezotronics are also offering a more basic model, the 9100D, which now features two BNC connections - one for an external oscillator input and the other for the output of the reference sensor.
