Mitie TFM has employed the use of Tinytag energy loggers in its objective to increase efficiency.
The technical facilities management (TFM) provider aimed to develop real improvements in energy performance for businesses.
The company had to develop a strategy and manage the various implementations of providing essential assessment of energy usage throughout a wide range of public and private sectors.
Engineers from the Mitie team provided detailed metering results for clients who had not previously been able to gather such data.
Mitie Engineer, Mark Hobbins, chose the Tinytag device because of its flexible functionality, suggesting it: “logs very specific data, making it a useful tool for energy and power assessments.”
Specific use of the energy assessment system has included measuring the efficiency of plant such as industrial chillers and air conditioning units.
The TFM team were capable of monitoring the energy output across various sectors and offer energy efficient solutions that could improve plant performance, highlight avoidable waste and implement savings for their clients.
