DuPont O-rings gain certification

The Kalrez 0090 perfluoelastomer O-ring from DuPont has gained Total GS EP PVV 142 certification.
The range provides the piping, valves and vessels sectors with resistance to rapid gas decompression (RGD) and a broad chemical resistance for use within harsh industrial environments.
The Kalrez seals gained the certification after demonstrating resistance to repeated RGD conditions.
The 0090 product range also offers broad temperature compatibility whilst retaining high levels of resilience up to temperatures of 250°C.
DuPont static low temperature test establishes that the sealing properties can be maintained down to -21°C.
While under pressurised sealing conditions, the products demonstrate a low temperature performance down to -40°C in laboratory tests.
