The line includes stainless steel dead zone-free connections for media circuits within no-residue pipe systems.
The 1600 series is designed for the transport and processing of paints for use within industrial applications.
It is manufactured from stainless steel 1.4301/07 and the collet for secure holding of the hose is made of brass. As a plug-and-turn fitting with a hose they offer a maintenance-friendly and flexible alternative to classic pipework and are just as easy to clean.
Absolute purity is important for paints, since even minimal mixing can corrupt the colour hues and cause inhomogeneity.
Thanks to the dead zone-free design of the 1600 series it is not necessary to disassemble systems for cleaning.
The 1600 series connections are suitable for an operating pressure range from -0.95 to 25 bar and temperatures between -20 and 120 °C.
The combined plug-and-turn system allows connection or disconnection of hoses with only one turn of the tool.
The connection is also insensitive to vibrations, since it has no moving parts when in closed condition, making it suitable for use with painting robots.
