GE launches liquid flow meter
7 Aug 2013
The Sentinel LCT4 ultrasonic flow meter is designed to meet performance requirements of OIML R117-1 and achieve repeatable results.
The Sentinel LCT4 enhances the reliable characteristics of its predecessor, the Sentinel LCT and is available as an aesthetically designed, compact meter body with integral cables and does not require extended buffers or junction boxes.
It retains all the advantages of ultrasonic flow measurement, including no moving parts, no restriction in the pipe, no pressure drop and lower installation, maintenance and energy costs.
It is viscosity-independent, meaning there is no need to prove or recalibrate when viscosity changes. The meter retains its accuracy over the entire set range of minimum to maximum viscosity, using only one calibration curve.
Users can view all information on the Sentinel LCT4 panel or use a remote monitoring adapter to send data to other on-site locations.
The Sentinel LCT4 can be applied to liquid custody transfer measurement, allocation measurement, pipeline leak detection, crude oil and refined products, high temperature flow, cryogenic flow, and any liquid requiring highly accurate and precise measurements.
