Chemical engineer to lead AMEC infrastructure team
12 Aug 2013
Project manager AMEC has appointed chemical engineer Rob Brown as managing director of its Environment & Infrastructure Europe business.
Brown had more than 20 years’ management experience in environmental, waste, oil and gas and related industries, most recently with URS and Worley Parsons.
He will report to AMEC Europe group president John Pearson and he replaces Philip (Sevvy) Bourne, who has transferred to AMEC’s Growth Regions business.
“[Brown] has proven capability in growing environment and infrastructure services across a range of our target markets and in geographies spanning the UK, Europe and beyond,” said Pearson.
“He brings a strong track record in the oil and gas, petrochemicals and mining sectors, which will complement the balance of skills that we already have in our business.”
