The two-day course, which runs from 1-3 October, focuses on particulate handling technology and also offers a one-day practical lab session.
The course is designed to provide the knowledge to assist those partaking in identifying bulk solids handling problems and the techniques which can be employed to overcome them.
Topics being covered over the duration of the course are as follows:
- Vessel design, including dimensions, feeders and discharge aids.
- Characterisation of materials.
- Pneumatic and mechanical handling.
- Feeder interfacing.
- Instrumentation and control of solids handling systems.
- Dust control including ATEX Compliance.
- Bulk Property measurement.
- Big Bag emptying.
Following the 2 days theory session, an optional practical session in our labs has been arranged to practice and further examine the techniques discussed.
The cost of the course is £1075 for the full three days, or £695 for two days.
