Control Techniques celebrates anniversary

Control Techniques, an Emerson Industrial Automation-owned manufacturer of motion control technology, is this month celebrating its 40th anniversary.
The company, which is headquartered in the UK, was originally founded as KTK on 4 October 1973. KTK became Control Techniques on 9 December 1975 and was acquired by Emerson (NYSE: EMR) on 30 November 1994.
Enrique Miñarro Viseras, president of Control Techniques, said: “Last year, Control Techniques launched Unidrive M, the first family of drives that is dedicated specifically to the manufacturing automation market and in the near future we will be launching new ranges of products targeted at each of our other main market sectors.”
Control Techniques, an Emerson Industrial Automation company, is a world leader in the design and production of electronic variable speed drives for the control of electric motors.
