New X-Ray systems boost quality control capabilities at a meat production facility in Belgium.
Gold Meat, a producer of pre-packed and over the counter meat products for the retail sector, says it has significantly enhanced the quality control check capabilities of its plant in Zolder, Belgium.
An increasing demand for more stringent quality control checks led the company to invest in two advanced Ishida X-Ray inspection systems designed to detect small bone particles in a range of brawn products.
Initially, Gold Meat undertook a series of tests with a number of equipment suppliers before selecting Ishida’s range of quality control technology.
“Having completed a series of tests, the Ishida came out on top,” says Francis Titeca, owner of Gold Meat.
