Pipework firm in acquisition deal

An investment company has announced the acquisition of specialist pipework engineering firm Haycock & Hague Pipework Systems.
Seeking to invest into industrial technology businesses, investment firm Hephaestus Holdings has acquired chemical and process plant pipework engineering firm Haycock & Hague Pipework Systems (H&H), in a deal managed by international mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisor BCMS.
H&H provides design, construction, commissioning and turnkey installation of chemical and process plant and high specification pipework, serving customers in the oil & gas, power generation, water, and chemical industries.

“Internationally the industrial engineering sector is buoyant, and this transaction demonstrates that investment companies are keen to acquire in the sector,” said BCMS deal leader Alan Southcombe.
“With the backing and strategic support of Hephaestus Holdings, and the ability to offer a full range of services including fabrication, control systems, process design, installation, commissioning and maintenance, the new group is very well positioned to increasingly serve its customers in the energy, oil and gas and process industries,” Southcombe added.
Aside from its fabrication facility in Selby, North-Yorkshire, H&H also operates sites at Scunthorpe, Lincolshire and Katowice, Poland.
