Alfa Laval secures award

Hygienic pump manufacturer Alfa Laval has been awarded the Frost & Sullivan 2013 ‘Company of the Year’ award in the European pumps market for the food and beverage industry.

Frost & Sullivan recognised Alfa Laval for its best practices, outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as market leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development.

Alfa Laval global portfolio manager Russell Jones said: “The Frost & Sullivan award validates the best-in-class work to which Alfa Laval is deeply committed. Our broad portfolio of premium pumps is capable of delivering optimal product output for food and beverage applications.

“However, this can only be achieved by selecting the right pump for each application and optimising process performance with technical know-how. This is achieved through continuous training of our sales channel and user. We are here to help our customers achieve this.”

The award also recognised Alfa Laval for extending its pump portfolio with pumps capable of meeting industry needs and key applications.
