Capita acquires process project manager

Capita today announced it had acquired project management firm Projen, a specialist in process sectors such as pharmaceuticals and downstream oil & gas.
Cheshire-based Projen also works in the chemical, food & drink and biomass sectors, delivering projects for blue chip clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi, BP and AkzoNobel, for which it is currently delivering a flagship paint manufacturing facility.

In recent years the business has expanded into the bioenergy field to deliver biofuels, biomass, and biogas projects,particularly focussed on the development, design and build of anaerobic digestion plants in the energy from waste market.
Capita’s property and infrastructure business (formerly Capita Symonds) is one of the UK’s leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancies.
