Subsea precision tools unveiled at expo

Engineering specialist Power Jacks is set to launch a suite of bespoke subsea electro-mechanical actuators and gearboxes for the oil & gas industry at Subsea Expo during February.
Power Jacks’ integrated U-Series range of screw jacks and bevel gearboxes is designed to optimise flexibility and functionality to address a wide scope of high-load applications.
The screw jacks have depth rates of up to 3,000 metres for lifting and positioning loads up to thousands of tonnes.
While the bevel gearboxes have the same depth rating as their screw jacks counterparts, they feature torque ratings from tens to thousands of Newton Metres torque.
Subsea Expo runs from the 11-13 February in Aberdeen, UK.
