Dantech opts for laser kit

Dantech is a leading supplier of security marking stencils and labels. Each order is customised with the customer’s own unique details and the company faced the challenge to make each order quickly and cost effectively.
Having previously used a mechanical machine to stamp out stencils, Dantech looked for a fast and easy way to produce these and in 1998 came across a Synrad laser supplied by Laser Lines, a standalone laser which was easy to operate.
The software works like a standard drawing program and will easily include special letters, drawings, bar codes and sequential numbering – and production is very fast, seconds rather than minutes.
Dantech managing director Ken Christensen said: “We chose the Synrad laser because of their long established reputation of supplying Co2 lasers and the easy to use software.
”Laser Lines were very helpful in getting us going with what was at that time a real breakthrough in laser engraving to produce personalised security stencils and labels.”
