VOCs - why speciate?
8 Apr 2015
The Quantitech stand at AQE 2015 will feature three different technologies for measuring individual organic compounds, which is important because volatile organic compounds (VOCs) mostly exist in mixtures so measurements can be misleading unless the individual compounds are speciated.
The FROG-4000 is a rugged, portable PID GC for fast on-site analysis of trace VOCs in air, soil and water.
This is a major benefit because samples containing volatiles are notoriously difficult to transport.
Secondly, Quantitech will demonstrate a unique portable GCMS, the TRIDION-9.
Thirdly, portable Gasmet FTIR analysers will be on display, offering simultaneous analysis of multiple compounds.
Refreshments, lunch, parking and entry to the exhibition and workshops, are all free to those that pre-register at www.AQEShow.com.
