Compact process valve helps to meet costs

Bürkert’s compact process valves have helped a sewage company meet costs and performance targets.
The Enviro Sewage Treatment Services (ESTS) reduced running and maintenance costs by up to £60,000, over an average 10-year operating period, due to its Logiclave type vertical closing autoclave.
According to Bürkert, low maintenance, high reliability and low energy consumption was key to achieving this figure. This was made possible by the flash steam generator and a combination of its own Type 2000 angle seat steam valves and rotary ball valves.
Bürkert’s valves have been adapted to reduce inventory and purchase costs for ESTS and they can also withstand the high temperatures associated with repeated steam sterilisation.
