Safety course targets hazardous chemicals

Cogent is running a training course for managers and supervisors in the process industries.
Cogent’s two-day training course will teach the principles of process safety management across the entire organisation.
The course has been designed for employees working with highly hazardous chemicals, who need to understand the safety, health and environmental hazards associated with their working environment.
Aimed at managers, supervisors, designers, safety personnel, and senior contract employees, the course is also suitable for young engineers and anyone else seeking greater understanding of process safety management.
Applicants will learn how to identify and learn from hazards, how to limit the consequences of a major accident, and how to achieve continual improvement in process safety performance.
