The latest Perception software from HBM offers high-speed data and CANbus signals in one programme.
HBM, which provides products and services in the field of test and measurement, says the Perception software has been specifically designed to meet the needs of ultra high-speed data acquisition applications.
It is suited to high measuring rate tasks and processing large quantities of data, the company says.
Expanding the scope of application, the latest software enables CANbus signals by the QuantumX MX471B module, which has four CAN interfaces, to read CAN, CCP and xCP-on-CAN messages.
Furthermore, the Ethernet-based Precise Time Protocol (PTP) can be used for synchronisation with Genesis high-speed instruments.
In addition, the new software enables the configuration of user keys so multiple commands can be combined and assigned to one key.
For example, more than 20 different cursor navigation commands can be set for different displays and configured for simultaneously transferring values to data sources and a log file.
