The Hydro-Brake Isolator is a watertight drop seal valve for water pollution and spill containment.
Made in compliance with UK environmental protection regulations and CIRIA 736 industry standard guidance, the product protects receiving watercourses by blocking the release of flood, polluted or fire fighting water from a site’s storm drains.
The stainless steel valve has a mechanically-locking design and can be closed remotely by means of bi-directional radio control or cloud-based communications systems.
The Hydro-Brake Isolator can also be activated automatically via a site’s fire alarm or building management system (BMS).
It is safe to use in a confined space or explosive atmosphere, says the company.
